NEW YORK, Jan 27, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SpeechCycle today announced the general market availability of RPA OnDemand, the company's Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for powering the next generation of Rich Phone Applications (RPAs) in the contact center and beyond.
RPA OnDemand is a unified platform providing all necessary services for the composition, enterprise integration, on-demand ("in the cloud") delivery, and performance measurement of Rich Phone Applications. The platform is architected from the ground up to flexibly support three cloud computing models -i.e. as a pure SaaS (software as a service) model, managed on-premise (enterprise cloud), or hybrid, software plus services deployments in which RPA OnDemand applications are accessed via an on-premise enterprise IVR. The platform is also IVR and voice-hosting independent in order to provide maximum freedom of choice for contact center and IT executives in developing and/or selecting high performance speech applications for live deployment.
